We had a lively discussion regarding Gregor the Overlander by Suzanne Collins. One reader has already moved on to book four! We especially enjoyed dining on cockroach cupcakes in the spirit of the Underland.
Our next book club pick is Doll Bones by Holly Black. Doll Bones is a Newbery Honor book this year and has received many accolades. The author, Holly Black, is the co-creator the Spiderwick Chronicles. It is a great choice for us as we approach Spring Break! We will meet on Monday, April 27th in the Media Center. Our library has several copies available for check out as do the public libraries. Watch below for a suspenseful book trailer:
